Musk’s New Family Hub: Tech Billionaire Elon Musk Reportedly Buys $35M Luxury Multi-Home Compound for His 11 Kids and Two of Their Mothers to Live Nearby

Reports indicate that Elon Musk purchased two luxury properties in Austin, Texas, worth a combined $35 million. These homes include a 14,400-square-foot villa with Tuscan-inspired architecture, and a neighboring six-bedroom property. Both homes are located close to each other, aligning with Musk’s goal of creating a connected living space for his children and two of their mothers. Musk’s recent Austin property purchases follow his broader move to Texas, where Tesla’s headquarters are now based.

According to insiders, Elon Musk reportedly acquired a luxurious property complex in Austin, Texas, so his children could live near each other, simplifying family visits and encouraging close bonds among his younger children. The complex, valued at around $35 million, is said to feature a grand 14,400-square-foot Tuscan-style mansion and an additional six-bedroom home nearby. This setup would allow Musk to have his family in adjacent properties, a plan aligned with his goal of keeping his family connected despite his busy schedule.

Shivon Zilis, an executive at Musk's Neuralink, has reportedly already moved into one of the Austin properties. She and Musk share twins, Strider and Azure, born in 2021, and recently welcomed a third child. Musk is reportedly interested in having his other ex-partners and children join the compound as well, to create a close-knit family environment. This arrangement would allow his children to grow up together, with both maternal figures and Musk nearby, aligning with his goal of a shared family space.

Musk's first wife, Justine Musk, with whom he shares five children, is not expected to move into the Austin compound. Meanwhile, Canadian singer Grimes, mother to three of Musk’s children, is reportedly not residing in the new properties either, as she and Musk are currently involved in a custody dispute regarding their children. This arrangement primarily involves Shivon Zilis, another of Musk’s recent partners and an executive at Neuralink, who has already moved into one of the residences with their children.

Grimes has not moved into the Austin compound, though she and Musk previously shared a 6,900-square-foot home in Austin in the summer of 2023. Tensions reportedly arose when Grimes learned about Musk’s relationship with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis. This discovery, along with the fact that Zilis had twins with Musk in 2021 through artificial insemination—allegedly without Grimes' knowledge—led to friction. Zilis’s twins were born just weeks before Grimes had her daughter with Musk, adding further strain to their relationship.

Musk has been outspoken about his concerns over declining birthrates and has reportedly offered his sperm to multiple acquaintances as part of his personal commitment to increasing the population. Among those he reportedly offered assistance to are Nicole Shanahan, the ex-wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin.

Elon Musk reportedly required the sellers of his Austin properties to sign NDAs before making an offer. He was also willing to pay around 70% above market value, bringing the purchase to about $35 million, to secure this private space for his family.

Elon Musk’s ‘Offer’ to Have a Baby with Taylor Swift Sparks Outrage: ‘This Is Not Okay'

Elon Musk’s surprising online offer to father a child with Taylor Swift sparked widespread backlash and intrigue across social media. The saga began when Swift, known for her outspoken activism, announced her endorsement of Kamala Harris in the upcoming U.S. presidential election, subtly embracing her label as a "Childless Cat Lady." This phrase appeared to mock earlier remarks made by Republican politician JD Vance, who had implied that “childless cat ladies” like Swift weren’t contributing to society in the traditional sense. Musk, the billionaire CEO of Tesla and SpaceX and an avid social media provocateur, jumped in with a response few expected: “Fine Taylor... you win. I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life,” he posted on X (formerly Twitter). Though Musk’s post was intended as a humorous riff on Swift’s post, it quickly unleashed a tidal wave of reactions online, ranging from confusion and disgust to outright indignation. Public Reaction: Outrage and M...

Even Elon Musk’s Mom Pays Full Price for a Tesla — No Special Treatment in the ‘Everyone’s Family’ Policy, But She Finds It "Cute"

When it comes to buying a Tesla, not even being the mother of the world’s richest man will get you a discount. Maye Musk, the 76-year-old model, dietitian, and mother of Elon Musk, recently confirmed that she paid full price for her Tesla vehicle—just like everyone else. In an interview that’s making waves, Maye revealed that despite her close relationship with Elon, she wasn’t offered any special deals on her Tesla. She emphasized that Elon’s strict “no discounts” policy doesn’t bend, not even for family. His philosophy? “Everyone’s family.” Translation: No one gets preferential treatment, and everyone pays the same price, whether you’re a stranger or his own mom. But Maye isn’t bitter about it. In fact, she seems to find the policy charming. She reportedly smiled and said, “That’s cute,” when asked about paying full price. It’s a testament to the Musk family’s unique dynamic—where fairness and principle trump favoritism, even at the family level. Elon Musk’s approach to pricing at...

"Elon Musk is reportedly losing £1 million every single minute in 2025."

Elon Musk's net worth has experienced a significant decline since the beginning of 2025, primarily due to substantial drops in the stock values of his major companies, including Tesla and X (formerly Twitter). In 2025, eight tech billionaires, including Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, collectively lost approximately $266 billion, with Tesla's stock dropping by 45%. Tesla's sales have declined in the US and globally, influenced by several factors including Musk's political activism causing consumer backlash, a transition towards robotics and AI, inventory issues, anticipation for new models, and increased competition. In February, US sales dropped by nearly 6%, with Cybertruck and Model 3 sales falling the most. Additionally, X's valuation has decreased significantly. One year after Musk's acquisition, company documents related to employee restricted stock grants showed the company had estimated its own valuation at about $19 billion, down about 55% from Musk's p...
